RE:Definition – Clamdestine

Clamdestine. n. Of or pertaining to the subterfuges, schemes and intrigues of a bivalve. This term was introduced into the vernacular at the time of the Napoleonic wars when British Generals sent oysters undercover to find out the secrets of the French.
